The Renewal Trust

The Renewal Trust is a Nottingham-based charity in our network nurturing happier, healthier, and more connected local communities. Their Feel Good programme offers free or low-cost activities year-round. The Renewal Trust was one of the local charities involved in our new national research report with Children North East – A Clean Start in Life: Children and Young People’s Perspectives on Hygiene Poverty.

Emmaus South Lambeth

Emmaus, South Lambeth (SLC), is a charitable organisation in our network that supports people who have experienced homelessness and social exclusion. Recently, Emmaus SLC was awarded funding through the Shanley Foundation to access refurbished laptops for their Companions, to improve their education, skillset and digital wellbeing.

Norfolk Clubhouse

Norfolk Clubhouse is a charitable social enterprise operating in the Norfolk area that supports adults living with mental health difficulties. They creatively involve their community in projects that enable them to be more sustainable, such as reusing In Kind Direct delivery packaging in craft activities.

Riverside Advice

Riverside Advice is a Welfare Rights organisation in Cardiff. They have cleverly integrated product-giving into the advice and information on energy, welfare benefits, debt and housing they receive funding from the British Gas Energy Trust (BGET) to deliver.

Early Essentials

Early Essentials is a Manchester based charity that helps vulnerable pregnant women, mothers and their babies by providing essential items. Their Moses basket starter packs, filled with essential products for both Mums and babies, are saving lives within their community.

Quo Vadis Trust

Quo Vadis Trust (QVT) provides supported housing for people in South East London with mental health needs. Their work has a powerful impact for the people they work with directly and the larger community. They are entirely reliant on charitable donations to provide activities and events. 

Chance Changing Lives

Chance Changing Lives was the first community pantry to open in Cheshire back in October 2018.  As a membership community pantry, it offers access to food and non-food items once a week for 150 families as well as offering many other support services, such as counselling and debt advice.  

The Hygiene Bank Moira

The Hygiene Bank (THB) in Moira, Northern Ireland, part of the national network of Hygiene Banks, distributes essential personal care items to local people struggling financially.
